WHY do different countries have different outlets?

 When electricity was first introduced into homes, inventors created various designs for outlets, and appliance manufacturers adapted to them. However, during the technological revolution, certain countries rejected the inventions of foreign citizens, leading to the development of new outlet shapes. In every country, outlets have different voltages, and plugs allow for the adjustment of the current supply. This is why different standards have been established for specific countries.
