WHY is the center of the universe is in Tulsa?

 Tulsa, Oklahoma is known for a unique acoustic location called "The Center of the Universe." This area is marked by a circle of concrete that is approximately 75 cm in diameter, surrounded by a circle of 13 bricks and circular brickwork. The entire area has a diameter of about 2.5 meters. When standing in the center of this circle, any sounds made by a person will be greatly amplified, and to someone standing outside the circle, the sounds will be distorted and difficult to understand. This phenomenon is caused by the way that sound waves are reflected off the circular walls and focused onto the center of the circle.
