WHY do we sneeze?

Sneezing is a body defense mechanism that occurs when the nasal mucosa comes into contact with irritants such as dust or strong odors. It involves a rapid and forceful exhalation of air through the nose, reaching speeds of up to 1000 km/h, which is equivalent to the speed of sound. Sneezing helps to remove any harmful particles or mucus from the nasal passages.
